Devon Bomb Blast Film
Aside from the positive benefits of cutting the harmful effects of sunlight which our window film products offer you, there are othersolutions.
Current health and safety guidelines instruct all commercial and industrial premises to take 'reasonable measures' to minimise casualities caused by explosions.
On of the quickest and cheapest measures that you can take is to have a protective window film applied to prevent injuries being caused by flying glass. The vast majority of casualties in an explosion are caused by glass shards. Windows will shatter from an explosion even if shrapnel comes no where near it. All explosions produce a wave of overpressure which can shatter windows in a wide radius from the source of the detonation.
Our protective window films prevent injury by keeping the glass within the frame even if it is shattered. The majority of injuries from a bomb blast in an urban area are caused by glass, typical targets involve commercial areas with large amounts of plate glass (shop fronts, etc.) and glazed roofs.
We can supply clear, tinted or printed films to protect against flying or falling glass.

The additional strength given to glazing by bomb-blast film also provides additional physical security against intruders:
Depending on the circumstances reinforcements to glazing at your commercial premises may be required by either health and safety regulations or as a condition of insurance. Window film really is the most cost effective solution. |
